WHERE YOU STAY ON SAFARI
CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOOD SAFARI AND AN AMAZING ONE.

To
find out more about individual safari
camps and lodges select a country to the
right.
On
our safari itineraries you will also find links to the camps and lodges you
would stay at, which include detailed
information for each property. We like to use the smaller,
more remote lodges and permanent tented
camps, and stay away from the large properties
that cater to big groups. We also offer
fully serviced mobile
camping options.

Accommodations
generally fall into the following categories:
Luxury
Safari Lodges - Intimate and luxurious,
these prosperities are often located on private
reserves with attached rooms or secluded cottages
designed in classic or exotic style. Most have
small pools, dinning and bar area's, library,
fire pits and personalized service.
Mobile
Camps- Erected prior to your arrival in private campsites or on private reserves,
accommodations can range from huge walk-in tents
with king size beds and full en-suite facilities,
to more modest dome tents with camp beds. All
are fully serviced with accompanying staff and
3 to 5 course meals are prepared by the camp
chefs.
Permanent
Tented Camps - These prosperities give you
the feel of the outdoors with all the comforts
of lodges. Usually very small and isolated,
they range from comfortable walk-in tents with
en-suite facilities, to large luxurious canvas
structures supported with wooden frames built
upon stilts or foundations with private plunge
pools and indoor/outdoor showers. Most have
dinning tents or structures, lounges and fire
pits.
Classic
Safari Lodges - Usually colonial in style
with attached rooms, restaurants, bars and pools.
Often they are located around popular National
Parks and more visited areas.
