Rwanda and Uganda Camps and Lodges

Below are a few of the Uganda and Rwanda lodges, we use on our safaris. All are situated in spectacular settings near the parks and reserves.

  • Bwindi Lodge
Set on the forested slopes of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, this eco-lodge offers an upfront vantage point for Gorilla trekking and forest walks.
  • Cassia Lodge
Located on Buziga Hill, one of the highest hills of Kampala, close to Lake Victoria. The environment is cool with an astonishing view of the lake as well as the city.
  • Kyambura Gorge Lodge
This eclectic contemporary safari lodge in Uganda has been converted from an old coffee processing plant that boasts incredible views overlooking the Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the mythical Mountains of the Moon in the far distance.
  • Mihingo Lodge
Mihingo is a luxurious, family owned lodge in a magical setting adjacent to Lake Mburo National Park. Perched high on a rocky kopje, whose pre-Cambrian granite boulders were formed over 500 million years ago, it has spectacular views over a vast savannah landscape.
  • Mount Gahinga Lodge
Mount Gahinga Lodge has tremendous views of Mt. Gahinga, part of the Virunga Volcanoes, set on the border of Rwanda and the Congo.
  • Ndali Primate Lodge
Ndali Primate Lodge provides a perfect base from which to visit some of the region’s most popular attractions. Kibale Forest National park, famous home of the largest concentration of chimpanzees in Africa, as well as a bewildering variety of other primates, birds and butterflies, can be reached within 45 minutes.
  • Serena Hotel Kigali
Ideally located on one of Kigali’s most charming boulevards, the five-star Kigali Serena Hotel is built around a polished granite atrium, which showcases the very best of Rwandese cultural art.
  • Virunga Lodge
This small luxury lodge is set on a hill overlooking Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, providing spectacular views of the forested volcanoes and emerald lakes.
